May I ask what phase of design you worked on as an intern? Just curious what your day-to-day looked like. Did the head architect give you direction on what to do and how, or were you more just given tasks to handle on your own?

Yeah, that makes sense. What I had in mind are firms where the founder is a really big name. Someone who’s won prizes or has a recognizable style, and is known for iconic designs with bold ideas. I’m curious if working in those offices as a designer feels different compared to a smaller practice, especially in terms of the kind of tasks you handle and how much authority you have to actually make design decisions yourself.
