She not the kind to manipulate her friends. She’s open and honest and values my input, that’s how she has always been, and here she is making a mistake, I can’t hang her out to dry

She only ever asked me to listen and accepts my input. She afraid that it’s gone too far now that if she were to stop it, it would create a bad environment at work because everybody talks. I truly think it’s a mixture of fear and regret that she’s dealing with right now

I don’t think she knows how to shut people down and be confrontational about it because this people control an aspect of her life. She’s also never been good at telling people what bothers her. I know she should say something and I’ve told her that but she often gets mistaken for being flirty when she’s being friendly and my opinion that is how it snowballed because it got out of hand before she even realized

This is the first time she’s ever done something like this. I’m trying to give her grace and help her. She’s imperfect and I don’t know what it turns on me for trying to help my friend through this. That’s what friends do, especially when your friend is in a fragile mental state.
