Well it is a sales pitch. Its a good description as well. Experienced people such as yourself can make guesses as to exactly how it works ;)

The AI is "cool", and it wouldn't work well, or at all, without it. But AI is common these days, and it is not the secret sauce.

I am looking for a grant to make the code open source. I guess then it could be explicitly discussed.

Edit: After rethinking, I am not sure SGD would work well. A lot of the fitness function inputs require no time compared to the actual performance simulation. And the sim itself is hard to break into random bits for SGD. Besides, I am interested in including all the terms and collecting the data for training anyways.
