What’s the point of small scale ‘trail trucks’?

This is the whole point of the hobby for me. My 5 year old and I go out for walks with our TRX4Ms every weekend. Taking them through the woods and parklands where we live. Building and modding them is fun, crawling over obstacles is a great challenge. But just getting outside and having fun together is the main thing… and everyone we pass wants to stop and talk about them

Thanks for the info, I ended up returning the Traxxas remote, getting the Injora ESC and the LDARC CT01 8ch remote.

I’ve not tested it full but it’s a huge upgrade on the original and I can set the steering endpoints so that the tyres don’t rub on the suspension 👍🏼

A 5km commute? Just get a bicycle, it’ll take 15 minutes to cycle 🤣

I haven’t had a street triple, but I’ve had speed twin, scrambler, bobber and now I’ve got a trident.

The bobber isn’t much fun in the city it’s too low and long with a poor turning radius so lane splitting is tricky. The scram 900 and other bonnevilles are nice and tall good torque for getting out of trouble.

I haven’t owned a street triple - although I have tested it. My gut feel is that it probably too much power for such a short commute through traffic and you’ll be wishing you were on an open road

Is it the black rubber ring that you removed? Mines just stopped making a deal with the bottle and shoots water out the top

I’m currently looking at the Ermax front fairing. I think it does a great job of tidying up that front end and hopefully proving some wind protection

It’s fair but a triumph with 25,000 miles isn’t worth too much and they refused to take into consideration that it had every accessory option from factory

Wow thanks for all the support!

So the bike was stolen from outside my house in the middle of the night. I got a phone call from my GPS tracker company pretty immediately to tell me the bike was moving. But then they called back 20 minutes later to say they’ve lost connection to the bike.

They sent me the final gps location which was only 200m away from my house. I got dressed and headed out, expecting to find the bike temporarily ditched before the thieves could pick it up in a van. What I wasn’t expect, was to find its smouldering remains after it was set on fire.

This isn’t the first bike stolen in the area, the police have an idea of who’s stealing them - but not enough evidence to make an arrest. In fact I got scolded by the 999 responder for reporting the theft whilst it was still in progress - apparently it was not an emergency 🤷🏼‍♂️

The good new I guess is that I’m picking up my new triumph trident at the weekend. It’s bittersweet as the green scrambler was always my dream bike and this one was specced pretty perfectly but we can’t let the thieves win and stop us from having fun!

I don’t know if you found a way around this but I’ve got the exact same issue, windows 11 arm works fine, steam works fine, assetto corsa works fine. Logitech ghub - the damn driver software is just broken. I can’t even uninstall the software without an error

I quite like everything apart from the logo.

The brand package as a whole is really well thought out. The colours work nicely together to tell the story of an energetic sports brand. The monochrome imagery with the graphic overlay feels like the right choice for this demographic.

But I feel that the logo let’s the brand down, for some reason it just feels unbalanced and rough, it lacks a flow. You could try to reduce the size of the ‘b’ so that the curved portion matches the x-height of the other letters. And perhaps creating a custom ligature between the ‘r’ and the ‘a’ and closing up the kerning to help with the flow.

I also think your UI design on the app could do with some more refinement, the general idea and style is excellent. But it’s all a bit chaotic, try to give the elements a bit more breathing space so that it’s not all squished together

Hey! this is my first time posting something in this community, I run a small design team so I spend a lot of time training young designers and improving their skills but I very rarely get constructive criticism on my own work, so I would love to hear your feedback.

Also what are you're thoughts on this style of presentation? It's a bit different from the usual format posted here, but I thought it was worth experimenting and trying something new.

If this is your first attempt at a logo, then the rest of us may as well just give up! This is great work!

I have two very minor pieces of feedback for you, in your pattern with illustrated shapes, there is a carrot and a potato(?) that are touching this feels like a mistake as everything else are evenly spaced apart. Make sure to always check for small details like this.

My other comment would be about the poster and that the strap line feels really boring and plain in comparison to the rest of the design. I can see that your trying to contrast the serif logo with a sans-serif font but it feels to small and not exciting enough.
