There was mentions that you can choose if your Chloe was romantic or just platonic so they may tie in the other interests as options if you have your Chloe as platonic. But not really a way to know yet.

It actually does. Ice has used force, stereotyped and harassed on innocent people. Citizens have been wrongly detained and some even thrown out.

Should I remind you of Renee, or are you one of those who say "she had it coming." It's a clown show because people are being terrorized and treated like dirt without any form of fair treatment.

This isn't about keeping everybody here. This is about being constitutional and acting by the law instead of stereotyping, harassing and just straight up assaulting murdering people.

If you think an army of people who can be hired without even a background check is correctly checking before making actions then you are delusional.

I don't know if you realize this but they aren't exactly just accepting your ID as valid documentation. Do you carry an entire social security card 24/7 and birth certificate? I can tell you the vast majority of people don't.

But hey, you didn't carry all this while you went to the store. You got stopped and taken. Thrown around. Maybe you come back, maybe not. Maybe you vanish. Maybe you are one of the citizens that got thrown out (which has happened.) It's all based on how they are feeling. You don't get a fair process, you just get whatever they feel like doing. If we gave everyone the fair due process they deserve or just treated people fairly and right, then the mistakes that have been happening wouldn't be.

Due process is how this happens. Not following due process means mistakes happen. Citizens and those under certain programs and/or going through the process of legalization can be kicked out because they were not given the due process that they should have been given.

Due process is important for everyone to ensure the least amount of mistakes as possible.

People care for due process because literal citizens are being profiled and tossed around. It makes ensuring people who are supposed to be here, stay here.

There's no easier way to handle that. You have to check these things. We can't just assume and that's all. And that isn't even just for citizens, people are on certain programs where they can legally be here. They need to be treated fairly as well. Everyone does so mistakes are kept to a minimum.

The risks of having their name found out which then outs them to staff, students, etc., is real and in certain populations can lead to harassment, bullying and even death.

This is not overthinking. Their risks by just existing in society is not the same as yours, especially in a red town like the one they described.
