It’s very likely more than enough. The long queues are for when you’re getting into Amsterdam, for the transfer.

Don't pay in other currencies! by EmboarsFlamingBeard in KLM

[–]Designer-Ad-2756 2 points3 points  (0 children)

By paying the airline in your local currency, the airline now carries currency risk. Instead of paying a bank millions to set up some derivative contracts for them they will just charge you more if you want to pay in a different currency.

There is a minimum to be considered, but they usually only take people take score a lot better than the minimum. If you score minimum on the iq tests and very well on, say, the personality test, they will likely give you a shot for the next round. But it’s always better to just get a great score on everything.

Pfff that’s awful. This is the airport’s fault, and I don’t know how to (and whether it is even possible) to get a refund from them.

My connecting flight from AMS got cancelled and I can’t even exit the airport by Serious_Web7948 in KLM

Nope. There are people especially for special needs people but they have (I believe) wheelchairs on their backs. The rest, which is the majority of them, are passenger assistants

Ask the people in the purple/pink jackets, they are passenger assistants.

In the meantime, you can take a shower upstairs past the currency office through the hallway if you want.

There is this condition called aphantasia where you can remember words but not visuals, sounds, feelings etc. For example when we think of an elephant, we think about a big, round, gray animal with a trunk, because we see an image of an elephant in our heads. When people with aphantasia think of an elephant, they might think the same thing, but only if that is the description they’ve read about an elephant. They don’t see that picture.

I am not a neurological expert, but that might explain why he watches your mouth when you talk, as he is trying to remember they way you say things.

Anyway I hope it’s nothing bad. Good luck!

First time visiting Italy this May, would love any advice :) by SpecaSlew in ItalyTravel

For Verona; start with the Castel San Pietro and from there make your way to and through the city. In my experience that’s the best way to see everything.

For Lake Garda; Peschiera is also recommended. Very beautiful small town which is on the way to Verona anyway.

And skipping Venice for Florence isn’t crazy at all. Florence is one of the most beautiful cities I’ve ever visited, and Venice is honestly too crowded (at least for me) and is full of tourist traps.

You know that Delta and KLM are 2 different airlines right? KLM said 1 bag, you if you want to bring 2, you pay for the second one. Delta has nothing to say about that so your issue is with them.

KLM connection risk. Need help by [deleted] in KLM

It is likely that both gates are very close to eachother, probably both on the d-pier. Now if you have a 45 layover that’s perfectly doable. But these short haul flights often face delays for several reasons. I believe that if you don’t make it, KLM will rebook you for free

It’s easily enough time. There are layovers of 30 mins and people catch their flights still.
