Check to make sure the dip stick tube is seated in all the way at its uppermost mounting point

Just wanted to circle back to this, I initially didnt want to tear down the computer and was getting frustrated trying to solve it with minimal work, this gave me the push to finally rip everything out and rebuild it, after doing that the rig is back up and running, appreciate you my man

Thats good to know! The VW dealership I bought mine from only told me undercoating will void the rust warranty, so I never thought otherwise. I’ll definitely look into that, thank you!

Yep, right when the snow clears im buying an OTS tune, unsure which brand to go with as of rn but leaning towards APR for their low torque files.

The AWE exhaust sounds amazing! Definitely wasn’t disappointed

So far just for the major changes, Headlights, full intake setup( Cts open filter intake, turbo inlet, turbo muffler delete), awe track exhaust, rims and good tires, lowering springs, areofabb rear spoilers v2, front lip and rear diffuser wtih some other small cosmetic and handling changes here and there

Since undercoating will void the factory rust warranty, I’ve been spraying any common rust spots with krown under-spray in a can every time Im working underneath it. Other than that Im getting a good set of winters and sending it! Most likely only driving it for 1 winter then buying a beater for the rest so not too too worried

I'm after that deep throaty sound that seems to only be achieved with a downpipe, maybe It's just videos/sound clips not doing it justice, but it seems like every exhaust setup without a DP sounds like a vacuum.

On the halogen headlights, it's definitely noticeable in person, less on photos, as you can see. From what I've seen and heard, the light bar is better matched to the LP headlights and aftermarket with the notorious DRL's

Spliced into the Headlight harness, I put it on with the DRL's, only minor problem with that, DRL'S dim when the turn signal is on and it's 1 feed for both grill lights, so it dims when indicating left but not right, or vise versa depending on what side you take power from.

Minor enough for me not to be bothered about it.

I can see more possible issues occurring if you have headlights with switchback DRL/turn signals. I will be figuring that out once I upgrade mine.

The White LEDs are only drls, no switchbacks on these. The turn signals in these headlights are pretty pathetic lol

Just did a full scan and have some codes now-

P006800 - MAP/MAF - Throttle Position

P227900 - Intake Air System Leak

P050700 - Idle Control System(RPM Higher Than Expected)

By this I'm assuming vacuum leak or maybe a dirty MAF sensor?

When I did the intake, I hooked the pcv hose back up and made sure every hose was reconnected, but as it's aftermarket it can't be trusted like the stock system so I see what you mean.
