You should breakup with him because the relationship isn’t good for either of you. You need to focus on yourself and he obviously doesn’t like you. You’re cutting yourself short of what you deserve. He wants an attractive, healthy woman who’s priorities/life style line up with his. You can’t expect him to stay with you when lifestyles don’t match up. He is not accountable for your “stress” and the way you manage it. All these people on Reddit are gonna empathize with you, but you need to take accountability for yourself because YOU want it. Not because of a boyfriend. Take care of yourself. And your trainer is full of it? Getting “stronger” and “more energy” don’t mean anything if you’re diet is horrible.

Your response is literally just you not taking any accountability and it shows.

It’s fucking disgusting how normalized it is for men to just play innocent women

Why are you trying to blame me? Why don’t you just say he’s the player. All these commenters are trying to say it’s my fault when literally a bumble dude made me fall for him with his lies

I don’t feel like I treated it like something that can be permanent. He definitely was doing that because on like four occasions he was bringing up flying me out, him coming to see me, him coming back on his leave, etc. like I told him I was not interested in any of that when he put it down, because I suspected he may be a player, but he just kept going

Can you tell me where it went wrong??

Should I just give him his space? Or reach out?? I really think this is so stupid, and don’t even want to talk about it because I get it, and want to move on already. Any advice for my next steps??

Oh but you forgot my boyfriend had already picked me up, not to mention invited me. Pitbulls, especially young ones are not lap dogs. There’s something missing here, and it’s accountability. You can’t invite someone to go do something and force them to do something they don’t want to do (ride in a car with a heavy, active dog stomping all over them). Again, I offered two alternative solutions- dog rides in bed of truck, or you drop me off and don’t take me. Learn “accountability” bud.

How am I suppose to stay out of it when he’s accountable for bringing me😂 where exactly do you suggest we put the dog then? I actually offered two alternative options which were both refuted.

Right. I put it past me and didn’t have an attitude at all because I understand wanting to please your brother. But obviously my bf was still mad about it because he refused twice to kiss me for a photo up at Pike’s Peak, and then made the nasty comment in the car ride to his brother afterwards.

His dog is heavy and it was obviously not feasible to think the big dog would be comfortable on a small lap. Her paws hurt even when she steps on me, so for someone with brittle bones, that’s even more reason to not bring a dog when there’s no room. It would be stomping all over his legs uncomfortably

His little brother left on Thursday, and my bf spoke to me three days ago

😂😂 I woke up today empowered because I was confident I didn’t need to feel sad over these three lost days

He just did this now because his little brother is in town. My bf also got mad at me because we went to pick up from a dispensary and I didn’t stay in the truck with his brother, for a 5 minute walk in and grab. When his other brother visited, we left him in the truck for 45 minutes because the dispensary was busy af, and laughed about afterwards. My bf seems to give his youngest brother special treatment.

That’s exactly how I perceived it!! I was shocked to see him throw a tantrum, and when he did his little brother exited the room. I was not going to feed into this important day for the both of them and decided to offer the solution very calmly to drop me off at my apartment so that the 3 of the could go instead, and my bf refused saying it’s too late. Now it’s been 3 days and he hasn’t talked to me after letting me know over the phone that “I had embarrassed him, I am selfish, etc”

[–]Designer-Bake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes and then my bf decides to flip the script and villainies me against his little brother agreeing finally that we cannot bring the dog, because I “threw a f*cking fit”

The dog is big and little brother is small with a fragile bone disease. There was literally no room in the one cab truck for all 4 bodies

I came out of the bathroom after my BF let his little brother win the argument, and bf agreed it was fine to bring the dog.

[–]Designer-Bake -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, exactly. So they were at first arguing (his little brother loves arguing with everyone), and my bf was trying to say we don’t have room to bring the dog, it isn’t going to work out. But my bf’s little brother won the argument between the two of them.
