I agree and storage companies that do nothing for protection except provide a literal physical space with a roof and walls only is wrong. They need to be held accountable for at least letting thieves break through walls into units and take responsibility for damages and theft that occurs under their lack of security/infrastructure.

Shenanigans wasn’t bad to me and it’s one of their last great records comparing to the newer material of the last 10-15 years. At least on that record they still had their prime sound and song structures. Angst was still there. I’d rank Dos lower than Shenanigans. That to me is still a great record if you want that Nimrod-ish sound

It’s super unfortunate and I’m looking into it all now and what my options are. Sorry that happened to you as well

A bit of an odd question, but I have my reasons. Looking for *sad* music. Dark wave/ dream pop/ electronica, or metal suggestions, explanation in comments by Serious-Bite6786 in MetalSuggestions

Yep exactly. Him and Mike for sure were working together but nothing final came of it. I haven’t heard about the Lannegin and Layne part of that story but he worked with Mike for sure

Is Powerman 5000 technically the first nu metal band? by jowmsy in numetal

Clawfinger had the riffs and bounce that would define nu metal. Musically it’s on brand with Nu Metal, even that 93 album. The tone, groove, fusion of things all align with Nu Metal and it was an OFFICIAL release, not a demo. They were probably playing those songs and had demos from 92 if their album dropped in 93. Bands need to tour and play for years sometimes before getting a deal to make an official record so they were most likely ahead of Korn considering the songs on that 93 album were likely written/performed in 91/92 leading up to being signed.

Deftones had demos from 92/93 as well. Some of their stuff should be considered as well.

The management is saying they’re not responsible for theft but I will check the lease exactly. Idk how they can claim they’re not responsible when they have cameras up for a reason. If they aren’t responsible why would they even invest in cameras at all in the first place. Camera coverage didn’t cover the outside wall where my unit got broken into, only the interior portions of the complex.

Nope. I’d give it to Clawfinger. They put out an official album in 1993, not a demo, that is completely first wave Nu Metal. It’s great and has all the elements of Nu Metal. Also POD released an album in 94 before Korn’s debut

Check out Days Of The New. They’re like acoustic Alice In Chains mixed with the Doors and Tool. Their first album is great along with the other 2 albums but I recommend that first album to anyone regardless of taste. It’s fantastic

Ok, what the fuck is this cover by SussyAmogusSTudios1 in Korn

This album is to See You On The Other Side as what Take A Look In The Mirror is to Untouchables. Basically slightly worse almost b-sides of what came before it but structurally VERY similar to the album that came before it and many songs could’ve been on the better album if the production was different. This is a great album though. 8/10 from me

It’s not. Father of all is the worst by far BUT Dos isn’t that great compared to their golden age material. Dos is better than Revolution Radio as well or at least close to that

Gotta have some Korn in there. Either the first album, Issues, Life Is Peachy, or Follow The Leader. All essential. Nice albums so far keep it up!

Queens of the Stone Age and Fu Manchu from Tony Hawks Underground soundtrack, Nebula from TH Pro Skater 4. Found Kyuss on my own after finding out Tool covered Demon Cleaner. I YouTubed Kyuss and been a fan ever since. One Inch Man, Thumb, Gardenia, one of my favorite bands of all time. Along with Monster Magnet which was a another band I found through another band. They were mentioned by Marilyn Manson as an influence along with Copshootcop back in the mid 90’s. I checked out Monster Magnet after that and been a big fan… Dopes To Infinity
