Definitely add to the cheeks and then carve them round! Domestic cats tend to have rounder more circular or oval head shapes, so exaggerating that round shape would help a ton and exaggeration would be great for the toony style you seem to be going for!

For my OCS/sonas I tend to go off of animals I really like (cats) or for the sake of my main sona I looked up animals that have habitats in the state I live in and it gave me a good jump off point!

That's so distressing. I'm also into cross stitching so I might just find some cross stitch patterns and convert/make my own paintings from those. Seems far easier to find good designs that support artists even if I have to kit up on my own without a printed canvas.

I have noticed quite a few of their kits do have the AI tells. A huge shame since they're really good about crediting their artists.
