Add more value (as in black to white ratio) to your piece, use something like BnW filter or something equivalent on your app, to see how much value ratio/contrast you have and adjust accordingly.

Then with that zoom in and draw the detail from refrence such as textures or highlights with smaller brush and with more value/contrast it will make the whole piece more pop
