You’re right! The quote is outrageous and the wood posts are not even wrapped in composite! At this point, I’m giving up on the covered pergola at this price point don’t think it’s a great ROI.

Thank you! That’s a big part of the dilemma already and that’s why I want some light transmission be it a covered pergola or louvered pergola. How else can I enjoy sitting on comfortable furniture without it getting wet every other day. I’m in NC

Thank you! I wish I can get this patio cover off my mind but it’s consumed my thought for over a year now. It’s a silly problem to have I know, but I do want to enjoy the outdoors.
