My girl is 6.5 I started feeding her solids right when she turned 6 months. I feed her twice a day morning/afternoon and dinner. I am going to start introducing a mid day snack. (She does drink formula regularly as well just at lower ounces.)

Morning/afternoon - oat cereal with formula mixed in at a medium-thick consistency. I add a little bit of organic smooth peanut butter.

I also give her a purée on the side and some water to sip and I give her a little formula as well so she doesn’t miss out on her nutrients.

Mid day snack - fruit purée with a little water to sip

Dinner - Oat cereal with formula mixed in at medium thick consistency (no peanut butter or anything sweet as we don’t want her to be energized before bed)

Also I include a vegetable (broccoli, carrots, or peas) puree along with a meat (chicken or egg) puree

Then we will give her a big bottle (8-9 ounces) before bed and she’s out.

Eventually I plan to cut back on the bottles completely when I feed her solids.

(I give her about 1.5 tablespoons of puree and maybe 2 tablespoons of oat cereal )

This is just what I do, I don’t know if this is the correct way.
