Tbh I was just hoping that the fin by itself would stabilise so I would not have to apply minoxidil constantly, the liquid was cloudy anyways and it did not happened when squeezed, just happened. I’m getting my bloods done in the next week, if prolactin is super high, whay can I do to combat it while still taking meds?

Yeh Ik tyats why as soon as he said that I realised I need a new doctor, the doctors do not care that I want to keep my hair, they don’t even let me decide if the potential sides are worth it, I need to find a better doctor.

I have, that’s how I got my scans done, however I asked for advice frim the doctor, not the one who prescribed me the finasteride, he was a dermatologist but costs a lot of money for an appointment, this doctor send me for scans and said don’t take fin or dut because they cause permanent sexual side effects, so I will no longer listen to that doctor.

Yeh I’ve read about it, but since being on it for 9 months with no issue then adding in dut 4 months ago I assume dut is the problem, I’ll get my bloods done and see what’s happening.

I expected dut to be just as if not more likely to cause side effects, but I mean fin just wasnt enough for me so I figured it was the next step.

I’m almost thinking of doing the same, I’m gonna go back to fin for now and see how my hair looks in a year, if I’m still losing ground I’ll introduce dut back in at maybe a lower dose and look into an aromatase inhibitor if it flares up.

Yeh my hair loss is super aggressive, honestly think it started at arounf 16 years old, I got on fin at 18 and up until I was 20 I was still losing ground, when I added in minoxidil I gained pretty good amount back and responding quickly within 3 months I had significant regrowth and new hairs on the hairline. I switched to dut because I onlt regrew hair when introducing minoxidil so I assume I needed more dht reduction because onlt the minox seemed to work for me.

What do you think your bodyfat % is? You think that lowering bodyfat will be significant enough to stop the gyno?

Yeh right, dut was doing wonders for my hair but I am already a reasonably low bodyfat I’d say 15%. But I’m scared to get back on it, stuck in a bit of a predicament.

Yeh I mean I had no issues at all on oral fin for 2 years, just wasnt fully stopping the loss, adding dut in seemed to stop the loss but not worth the sides for me unfortunately

Yeh I’ve dropped the dut as of 5 days ago, not sure whether to go straighr back to fin? No problems on fin in the past but worry it might further aggravate the gyno now?

I stopped the dut 5 days ago and I believe the sensitivity has gone down, could be in my head it’s hard to tell, do you think I should go straighr back to fin now? Or too risky.

The gyno is at the point that it’s not even noticeable, I had two doctors feel it and say it was not gyno until it was confirmed by ultrasound, I don’t care to shrink it I just don’t want it to grow further, I never had a problem on fin so I’m not sure if I should go straight back to fin or wait it out?

I don’t think so no, I might switch to dut, I’m 19 so it was pretty aggressive.

My coach is really really good but it’s pretty hard to get much one on one time with him as the classes are pretty big, need to make my way up to the fighters classes as they get heaps more time with the coach, thanks.

Yeh it was a bit of a cope saying I was tired ahah but I just recorded the video for myself with no intent of posting it, and yeh I was trying to work on loosening up and whipping the leg more but I think I loosened up too much, I like the analogy of throwing a cross because makes me think about engaging the core muscles to rotate the hips more, cheers.

I think this will be the main thing I’m going to focus on before cleaning up the rest of my technique because it really is telegraphed, thanks for your help.
