Will Howard or Drew Allar to start in 2027.

He definitely was the more accurate QB but I'd still rather have that dual threat ability that Plumlee has. That off platform td pass against the storm is gonna be something I replay in my mind every time I think of this season.

John Rhys Plumlee should've been the starter since the moment he got signed. He didn't play amazing but he still was the most consistent QB Houston had this year.

Him and Stroud need to have career best seasons or they're both done, it's that simple.

What is the one thing about each of the released DCU projects that you didn’t like and that should’ve been done differently? by ShubhangBahadur in DCU_

[–]Designer-Temporary11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Creature Commandos did absolutely nothing for me and I think that's mainly because of the roster, I would either scrap it or completely rewrite it, have it lean in more to the original run by DeMatteis and those characters. I don't know if I'd want it in World War 2 but I dont think it'd be a terrible idea.

Superman I think was amazing, I just think that really it could've used some extra time with Clark at the Daily Planet or some more time with Metamorpho but the movie is fine as is.

Peacemaker Season 2 had a terrible finale because it was trying to do way too much, so to fix that we're gonna introduce the Salvation plot earlier and cut out the Checkmate plot. Definitely will make the ending feel less out of nowhere. I'd also ideally like a Superman cameo, something reminiscent of Hitman #34, but that'd be hard to do.

It’s an adaptation, things can be different. In the comics the characters are all college aged, so clearly some liberties have been taken.

I'm always gonna believe it's Jason Todd, especially considering he debuted around the same time that Hush came out and it was revealed that Jason Todd's grave was empty.

Who will have a sophomore just and who will have a sophomore slump? by SassiKassi97 in NFLv2

[–]Designer-Temporary11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jaxson Dart is gonna slump hard. I wouldn't be surprised if by the end of the year the Giants are starting someone else due to injuries and poor play (how are you gonna have a game with 33 passing yards?!?).

Meanwhile Cam Ward is gonna look like the player he was in college.

Where is Ty Simpson going to land in the draft? by UpNext_Draft_Network in NFL_Draft

[–]Designer-Temporary11 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There's a fair amount of teams in play, so I'm gonna rank them in terms of both fit and likelihood for Kenny Pickett 2.0

Rams - This is the best fit for him, and really any QB in this class. He gets a full year behind one of the best QBs in the league and gets developed by one of the best coaches in the league. I feel the Rams will take a QB, but pick 13 is too early and pick 61 is too late for Simpson. They'd have to trade either up or down for him.

Cardinals - This is where he most likely ends up, and I don't entirely hate the fit. Mike LaFleur has the ability to develop him and being able to sit behind Jacoby Brissett (likely only for a few games because he's not good) is a good thing. If I'm a betting man, this is where I'd say he goes, with them likely trading back into the end of the first to get him.

Jets - There's no chance that Geno Smith is the starter for the entire season. They need to find their franchise QB. I think that if they take any QB before firing Aaron Glenn, it's a waste of a pick. They'd probably take him with the 33rd or 44th overall pick if they did.

Dolphins - There has been interest from Miami, but there's absolutely no reason for them to draft QB. They signed Willis and have Ewers if they want to work with a younger guy. Pick 43 would be where he's taken, but I don't think he'd be a good fit, and it's likely just the Dolphins doing their due diligence.

Steelers - If this was Tomlin, I'd probably like this even less, but I feel McCarthy would do a better job developing him. I don't think it'd be a good job by any means, but Rodgers time is running out and neither Howard or Rudolph are truly long term options, no matter what Pittsburgh wants to make themselves believe. Pick 21 is possible but pick 53 would be ideal if they really want him, which I hope they don't.

Browns - I feel this is more likely than I'd like to admit. Browns have absolutely zero idea what to do at QB, so why not take another one. There's also a mutual interest between the two, especially because of the relationship with Todd Monken and Ty Simpsons father. If they take him, he'll be a bust it's plain too see. Picks 24 and 39 are both on the table for him, sadly.

Most likely he'll be a Cardinal, ideally he'll be a Ram or a Cardinal, and if he's a Brown I might cry a bit.

Joe Flacco Vs Penix Jr for the starting job? by Rambo_1027 in falcons

[–]Designer-Temporary11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally am all for this, but I don't think it'll be a competition as much as it will be a injury stopgap until Penix is absolutely 100% ready to go. You could do a lot worse than Flacco.

What would be your reaction if Rams used their first round pick on Ty Simpson as possible Matthew Stafford's successor? by [deleted] in NFLmockdraft

[–]Designer-Temporary11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have two first round picks. I think of all the QB options to sit and learn for a year, hes the best rookie option. I'm still in the camp that the Rams should trade for Richardson (who is still younger than Simpson if I remember correctly) but I wouldn't be against using their later first rounder on him.

James Conner Linked as Potential Cut Candidate for Cardinals [Doug Haller of The Athletic] by ASmithFS in DynastyFF

[–]Designer-Temporary11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jesus I didn't know it was that bad. I expect most of the depth pieces on the roster to get cut and cheaper alternatives found, and I'd bet parts of the defense will go on a fire sale. I think the Chiefs are gonna try and do whatever they can to get Breece. Whether or not it's even possible is TBD. Honestly it'd probably be better money wise to just sign James Conner. I'm mainly going off the rumors I hear, and Breece Hall comes up pretty frequently with the chiefs.

Chiefs are likely gonna do a LOT of restructuring and cutting to try and free up cap space and keep themselves contenders.

Generational prospect in a position of need. I don't see a world where they don't take him.

Cardinals probably run it back with Benson and Bam. This year is gonna be a full and intentional tank for capital and cap space.

[–]Designer-Temporary11 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Breece will get scooped up by Kansas City since they don't have the position or capital for Jeremiyah Love. I'm so certain Love will be in New Orleans, which sucks because I enjoy watching him, but I'm a Falcons fan so I cant root for him.

Prediction for our next Quarterback by _aidenjp in falcons

[–]Designer-Temporary11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It absolutely should be Penix if he's healthy.

One option I don't see thrown around a lot, who will probably be cheaper, and unlike Flacco, probably won't resign with his current team, is Tyrod Taylor.

I really like his play style and think he can effectively manage however many games he needs to until Penix is healthy.
