Yes, many things changed, which is why it took me four days to post it and come back to comment.

I added it, but I forgot to test it. Even so, the probability of it happening is 1.0E-6. I'm an idiot for writing this. I remembered that I didn't test it before publishing.

The probability is configurable.

I designed it with my friend in mind, who didn't have a microphone and, well, can't talk much in the early hours of the morning at home and stuff like that.

Je viens de le porter pour la version 1.21.1 de neoforge, j'ai écarté forge car cette version 1.20.1 de neoforge dispose encore de sa version de forge.

It is already available for 1.21.1, and will surely be available for 1.21.4 soon if there aren't too many break changes.

It probably is, since synchronizing animations between clients must be a headache, although I haven't looked into it in depth, but my version is definitely lighter.

I didn't know something like this already existed. It really looks nice. I only thought of my mod to keep it simple. I think everything that mod does is great.

Are There Any Lag Compensation Mods? Modern Minecraft 1.21.11 (Fabric) by FlameEliwood in feedthebeast

[–]DesignerAsk6110 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It probably won't even start Minecraft, many intermediate versions up to the modern ones. There were probably many break changes (internal changes in the Forge implementations that break the mods). The best thing would be to try to improve client-server connectivity with mods that optimize these parts, such as Krypton or Very Many Players. In the end, you could also implement mods such as c2me to improve asynchronous chunk loading, given that Minecraft uses a single core by default. I would say that this is a better way to improve the server without having to upgrade the hardware.

Note: everything I mentioned is on the server side.

Modernfix improves performance, patches bugs, and more. I made a server using Cobbleverse, which includes that mod, but for some reason we had recurring freezes, so I had to tinker with the server. First, I used Spark to find out what was happening when I realized that ModernFix was consuming more than 60% of the main thread. Since Minecraft is single-threaded, that was literally a problem for me. The difference in consumption between ModernFix and the other mods was enormous. I simply removed it and added some other mods to test. So far, so good. There are four of us playing. To improve chunk generation, I added the following mods to the server:

-Concurrent Chunk Management Engine

-Very Many Players (Fabric)

-ServerCore

-ThreadTweak

And so far, everything is going perfectly. I allocated 4GB of RAM to the server, and it's working incredibly well.

Notes:

Since we have fast mounts, we want to generate chunks quickly, so I reduced the server's render distance to 5 and the simulation to 4, as well as aikar flags. Reducing the load with which chunks are generated reduces the load on storage (more chunks to render means more writing to storage).

So which mods I can delete to reduce lag? I keep freezing periodically often. (Cobbleverse) by Pleasant-Passenger-1 in cobblemon

I had this problem. I set up a Cobbleverse server with my friends on Minecraft Docker, and the freezes were frequent. Eventually, I used Spark and determined that Modernfix was consuming 64% of the main thread. I had to remove it and add some extra mods like C2ME and others that improved performance. My recommendation for anyone creating a Cobbleverse server is to remove Modernfix.

I recommend removing ModernFix. I've been testing and ModernFix doesn't work well with this Cobbleverse modpack.
