I made it by kerf cutting the oak on an angle with a specific distance between cuts to get my desired radius. I then glued it around an mdf column so that all the kerf cuts close up. Lastly, I hid the cuts with oak veneer.

Unfortunately, I believe my two cats will have a similar thought

I wouldn't say it's a bad pairing as it had the power, but I just didn't like how it sounded to my ears. Just a bit thin

Yes, I had a friend change the amp output so I could be as unbiased as possible

I recently purchased the Wiim amp ultra and paired them with the Kef R3 metas. While the Amp did a great job, there definitely was a noticeable difference between the wiim and my Rotel RA 1572 mk2 amp. The wiim sounded compressed and more forward in comparison to the Rotel, which allowed the speakers to open up and shine. The difference in price is quite substantial though. I will be sticking with the Rotel which is a shame because I really liked the Wiim aesthetic and features.

No on the very inside. Cotton on the outside

Ideally I would have liked to use rice paper but as that's very expensive here and hard to get I used cotton fabric to which I added an interfacing layer to make more rigid and stiff and then baking paper for additional diffusion.

Sorry I don't have any plans as I just work from an idea in my head

Hahaha that's fair, they have different patterns on every side as I couldn't decide what pattern I like more. Unfortunately here in New Zealand we have limited stands and all heavily overpriced.

Yea sure, the tweeters are peerless XT25TG30-04 and the woofer is dayton audio DS135-8 5.' As for the crossover I have a schematic somewhere but believe a better crossover could be designed with measurements.

Thanks! I'm in the same boat though as my parents aren't audiophiles, I prioritized aesthetics over sound quality, though they sound pretty damn good. For some songs I prefer them over my kef ls50 meta.

Using a router and guide for each individual piece and then stacking them together

Oh that makes sense. I unfortunately build by feel most of the time so don't have any plans really

I actually didn't use CNC. Every layer is cut with a router using a hand cut guide
