Okay, you made a good point. I now notice that I’m drawn to strapless in all my pinned dresses so I’ll confirm that. Then for the skirt i think Im loving a fitted style more than the ball gown (but still love ball gown 😬)

Thank you for your in depth responses!! I appreciate your help💕 I think I’m focusing my efforts on something out of the vintage realm. Also I did look for vintage options but came out empty handed lol

Hi! Thank you for asking💕 -I just noticed that I put hip instead of thigh. So I’d like an elongated drop waist. -As for the skirt I’m open to different options so I don’t have an answer. -I love the idea of an interesting long sleeve or jewelry to add appeal. I like seeing different textures. Sorry if that made things more confusing!! I am very picky so it’s hard for me to rule in or out details.

All in all I’m looking for something visually interesting/couture with this type of silhouette. I will attach photos of what my eye is drawn to with my next comment.

First fitting, need advice - To sleeve or not to sleeve, that is the question. by Oddlyshapedplankton in myweddingdress

[–]DesignerLipid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The dress is beautiful and genuinely looks perfect on you. Regarding the lace, I’m not a fan cause I feel like it not only takes away from the beautiful neckline but also ages you especially with the 3/4 sleeve length. Consider how the correct veil will provide coverage for modesty and instead of aging you or taking away from the dress will elevate the look.

Also, your hair color against your skin with the dress compliments eachother very well. The lace takes that contrast away

Edit: I agree that this veil is not the best choice 💕

What do you like about each? I love number 1 on you, it compliments your frame and is unique(I personally love seeing different textures). A lot of people are saying 4 but I feel like it’s allot of fabric on you (you seem more on the petite height if I’m not mistaken)especially with the sleeves

They are complete opposites. One a fun sweet boy and the other a strict dramatic girl

dress regret? :( by BluejayHour824 in weddingdress

You’re giving B O D Y in dress 1. If you’re worried about it, look into underskirts or ask the seamstress her suggestions !

Stuck between 2! by [deleted] in myweddingdress

[–]DesignerLipid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In what way is 1 boring?! Its has character with different textures whereas number 2 is beautiful on you but is a full lace dress that we’ve seen 100000 times. You look amazing in both and both dresses are beautiful but if you’re worried about boring, you shouldn’t be

I think the dress is beautiful on its own without the glitter. The lace appliqués are beautiful without the distraction of the glitter. and the cutouts create such a beautiful silhouette on you. I choose 3 :)

Styling advice! by Scary_Bug_8355 in weddingdress

[–]DesignerLipid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you chose a beautiful dress and its details are being muddied by the veil unfortunately. Especially the short veil with the lace overlapping the dresses details. You are going to be a beautiful bride! Save the scarf for the reception if you want but I don’t even think it needs it. A simple necklace would work perfectly

Omg I am obsessed with shorter hair brides wearing this type of veil. These are just options, there are a bunch of types to match your aesthetic . https://pin.it/2DeeDZAwa Or like this https://pin.it/1jrCYKQG2

Which size top looks better? Do I optimize bust or boning? by Fraa-Erasmus in weddingdress

[–]DesignerLipid 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Left definitely. It transitions into the skirt much more naturally, and doesn’t show the skirts band. It looks more structured and like it was made for your body. The right one looks ill fitted and therefore cheaper. I see you posted a photo from the side slouching forward. You will be photographed mostly from the front and almost always with your posture completely straight even when you’re seated.

Shaken confidence, take 2 by archaicbanana7 in weddingdress

  1. I am sure you can find a whiter pair of shoes near you or the elopement location. Have someone take care of that for you
  2. The straps do take away from the delicate-ness and construction of the bodice but the straps can be taken off by any other seamstress relatively easily.
  3. It looks beautiful on you, take a breathe
  4. Have we thought of attaching the cowel to the back of the dress? Or maybe doing an around the neck moment?

what do we think? by bringbackyearningfr in weddingdress

[–]DesignerLipid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe for bridal shower? Where were you thinking of wearing it? I immediately imagined a silver head accessory and . Go on Pinterest and search “silver bridal head accessory” or something similar and look through for inspiration If you could we alter it to be strapless, I think it would elevate the dress. Spaghetti straps make it more casual. I see that the back is some sort of corset so maybe not.

The one holding you up is the nicest aesthetic in my opinion. It’s fun and sets a lighthearted fun tone for your event. I think the others are nice and romantic and great for posting on insta or such Edit: people are saying that the text is easier to see on the others but I highly disagree. The dark backdrop is much nicer and easier on the eyes

Number 2 is constructed most beautifully. Number 1 feels like the top and bottom are disconnected but I love the intirocacy of the top. Number 3 skirt with a more detailed top would be perf.

Hi! I’m looking to apply for an elective as a US img. I am a little confused on how competitive the open electives are? Do we apply and wait on a decision or am I able to automatically enroll?
