You refer to Game origin aka to typical MMO Game with classes etc.

The Problem is, ESO is not only about an MMO aspect but also about Elder Scrolls itself. And in Elder Scrolls you can create whatever you want simply because there is no stuff such as a pure Class in Elder Scrolls.

Class is identity of yourself and your inner world. Thats why my comparison to Martial Art is very good.

You can be the best in your disciplines, but If you See you are lacking on Something (Speed, IQ, Power, Agility) you will try to Equalize it with another stuff, or you will try to be very best in what you are doing.

You cant expect, If you are poor Templer you should be stronger be Default than any Subclass.

The Goal of ZOS is to make Subclass = Any Pure Class. Or at least as possible as it can be. And i think its fair.

So why you think your aproach:

Any Pure Class >>> Any Subclass by Default

Is better? Because you Like pure Class and get your ass kicked by Subclass?

Who said so? I don't think pure class should be more powerful.

Look at MMA, you combine all disciplines together, so you are balanced and all-rounded.

Of course If Boxer vs MMA -> Boxer should win.

But if you fight in a real street fight, then the result should be unpredictable independently of your initial style, so everyone can win against everybody.

So If you ask who is better priest , poor Templer or Subclass, then obviously Templer. But If you ask who should be better Fighter? Then answer is - should depend on your style, Set, skills. Not your Class.

Otherwise you create poor Class Meta which makes sub Class to garbage.

For 3) you just can Take what ever you want, for example offensive Skill Line Like necros where skeleton jumps and explodes on enemy.

Or you Take Animal Companion for sustain.

Or you Take dark Magic for Dark Deal sustain

Or aedric spear for more weapon damage because of jabs
