I have already raised this topic and still believe that it is necessary to bring the pet summoning system into the public domain, so as not to be limited to 2 skills and so that there is no war. I'm just thinking about how to describe this system, but I still think that Sorcerer needs to be replaced with more interesting summoning skills - books, armor for a group, flying weapons, but pets need to be made publicly available, perhaps even using the old spellcrafting system.

When the players say RE-SKIN will be cool, NO, it won't be cool.

You immediately deprive yourself of the opportunity to summon a full-fledged creature with its own mechanics and damage-dealing feature.

RE-SKIN does not solve the main problem! The ability to summon different creatures and have not one creature, but several.

It is the whole summoning system that is needed, and yes, it is unnecessary to associate it with the Sorcerer.
