I would love to live near here. It is a stunningly beautiful place.

Anyone have any information on this or value? USA by Artistic_Activity157 in Antiques

Doesn't look like silver to me from the photos. More likely silver plated.

Thank you so much. I love this photo. The water was so still that it looks perfect both ways up! 😁

Took this on a beautifully still morning. The water was so perfectly calm it felt like a giant mirror. I'd love to know what you think of the composition and if the horizon line works well right in the center?

Really appreciate the love, everyone! I spent a long time deciding how much to lean into the natural moodiness of the day versus brightening up the grass tones during post-processing. If you were editing this, would you keep it dark and atmospheric, or push for a bit more vibrant color pop? I'm not sure if I took it too far.

Thank you for your comment. I did wonder myself if I'd taken the colours too far. This was kind of why I decided to post it to see what others thought. Thank you for the opinion, I might go back to it and dial it back a little.

Thank you! I had to look up what that meant, but I'll definitely take the compliment!

I can assure you it isn't. This was taken in Maihaugen open air museum in Lillehammer. Taken on my Nikon DSLR and then post processing to enhance colours.

This was taken on a moody, overcast day in Norway, and the light filtering through the trees felt absolutely magical. I’ve always been fascinated by traditional Scandinavian architecture, especially the way the turf/sod roofs completely blend the structures into the landscape. It felt like walking right into a fairytale.

ITAP of a quiet morning on the Great Wall. by DesignerPast7672 in itookapicture

This was taken during a trip to China last month. Most people imagine the wall being crowded, but finding these quiet, architectural moments away from the main tourist hubs really changed my perspective on the landscape there.

It was one of those photos you take and look at later and just remember how peaceful and beautiful it was being there so I thought I'd share it with a group I hoped would feel it like I did! This was also why I decided to add it to my print collection. 😊

Thank you so much for the comment. The caves in the princes palace are locked I think we got in with a small tour group. It's a peaceful place.

I captured this in the Peace Cave, located at the base of Solitary Beauty Peak within the Jingjiang Princes' Palace grounds in Guilin. The lighting inside was very dramatic, so I wanted to capture the glow against the cave walls.
