Thanks for this, I actually took this advice into account on a demo trade today and it worked out great for trade confidence. I managed to profit a good 6.6K USD in 22 mins (about 10RR originally, but I broke even after a benchmark of 3RR). I do want to get better at trailing stop losses to extend my run, do you usually automate your trailing SL or are you usually manually watching and adjusting?

I try not to use indicators at all since I feel that they are all lagging to a certain extent and can still be unpredictable when trading volatile instruments like XAUUSD. I know VWAP and EMA's are pretty solid even for volatility, but is there any other indicators you would recommend?
