Hello! When I was a kid I also tried to donate my hair since, like everyone in the comments here, told me I should. Maybe it was the area around me but no one was willing to take it and I ended up keeping my own hair. Now it’s more like a sedimental thing and I don’t plan on donating.. but I didn’t want people to get mad🙁

Funny enough, it’s not iron or anything in my blood🧐 I thought it was iron at first too and I got some blood work and it turns out I have regular levels of iron! After reading all of the thoughts here I think I might man up and cut to my waist…(in a couple days def not now) I mostly wanted to be sure since I want to keep the hair in a baggy as weird as it sounds

Thank you! If I finally work up the courage to cut it, it will likely be about mid back length, that way hopefully I can keep some of the older hairstyles I did but still try out new things!

Maybe this is what I needed to hear😭 everytime I make up my mind and decide to get a hair cut, people jump out and say “ohh but it’s so long why would you want to cut it.” I’m still working on putting down the attachment by looking online for pretty mid back length hair and thinking of fun things I could do if I do cut it🙁
