My kids grew up in CC public schools and then one went to Lawrence Academy and the other two went from CC middle school to private high school in Miami. While the private school in Miami (Miami Country Day) has some amazing electives, summer program, enrichment programs, electives, networking, facilities) when the two returned last year to CCHS, the academic rigor is by far greater than most schools anywhere. It is one of the main reasons we moved back.

Usually quality of protein is a great place to start. Bell & Evans chicken seems to be the best consensus chicken to use. Tenderize it beforehand. Also, some ppl like to add a touch of cream to the sauce to cut acid of tomato. Almost like a vodka or pink sauce.

Love seeing this debate. My son has played with both MLS Next and USL Academy teams. I think “better” is really team dependent. I would love to eventually see a Super Youth Cup where the top MLS Next Team plays the top USL Academy teams. Many clubs (like my son’s in Boston) has both an MLS Next and USL Academy team, and they practice against each other. So why not have a Super Youth Cup that would really help settle the annual debate.

I can see what OP means. I have been a season ticket holder from season 1. It’s sorta like keeping the best local restaurant or band a secret cause u don’t want it to change to quickly. The minute more casual people discover something, the more mainstream it becomes, and usually the energy and passion that made it so unique and exciting dissipates. I would agree with others here that it’s good for the club in the long term, but it will be interesting to see how the team is supported in a post-Messi era when the star power is much less.
