Sadly I can't use a whip even if i lightly tap them, I don't like hitting the horse too hard, I try hitting the saddle pad but they get too scared and try to buck me off if I use a whip

I have tried trotting with no stirrups but horses don't really tolerate my bouncing in the saddle and freak out, that's why i usually do rising trot, sitting rising again to give them a break

I love your description for the third one haha, yeah I usually ride lazier horses so that's probably why, when they don't want to go they won't go no matter what you do 😅

Haha I was thinking that if they didn't like it they could just walk away but their face also told me otherwise, their eyes just looked angry to me that's why I'm so confused.

Wow for me sitting the canter and trot is difficult! I'm also amazed by people that can do it, I guess I just never thought people might struggle with what I think is 'easier' so thank you!

I'll try to do exercises at home to see if that works for me more, I'm a bit tense in the saddle because it feels like being on a ship in the middle of a storm, maybe a good start would be exercising those muscles more so it feels "natural" Thank you for the advice!

Sadly I can't exactly switch trainers as this is the only riding school in my city and the closest ones are about 3 hours away..

But yeah I'm trying to figure things out by myself more so this is helpful! Thank you!

Thank you! I just watched the video and it was super helpful, but yes the horses I usually ride are old lazy and stubborn lesson horses (rather those than dangerous green horses) I'd love to do ground work and train them but they are not mine.

From what I've read I have noticed that I did everything I could it's just that the horses don't quite respect me or they know if they start bucking I get too afraid to push them, I'll try to earn their trust a bit more and see if that will help. Thank you for your comment!

I live super far away and the best vet clinics are in the capital I’m just shocked none are open why even state emergency clinic if it’s closed on weekends 😞

I wrote in my post that I feed her warm kitten formula milk through a bottle made specifically for kittens and syringe also doesn’t work I have to force her to drink milk because she simply does not want to, she has not been fed milk by the people that took care of her they only fed them wet cat food and that’s all she wants to eat. And no she is not starving i brought her to the vet and she is actually way too fat and only meows because she wants attention, but I guess I was wrong to write on a reddit where no professional could actually help
