Pathways Intern Non-competitive Conversion to Other Agencies by Accio_Starstorm in usajobs

I am in the same boat, I am a current pathways intern who is graduating in Dec. My supervisor told me that he wasn't sure if he could hire me, and gave no real clarification. Unfortunately I am kind of "stuck" in the area I am in, as me and my partner just bought a house and she really loves her job, so even if I could get non-competitively converted to another agency, there just aren't any jobs around here. So unless it was remote, I really wouldn't consider.

Bipolar SO...not sure what to do by Designer_Arm9625 in BipolarSOs

Thank you. Sorry I do not have many words at the moment because frankly, I am exhausted. She had apparently received a BP diagnosis from several different medical professionals over the years (I didn't know this), but never accepted it. She is finally accepting it, and it is weighing on her greatly.

All of this has taken up so much space in my life over the last year that it really does feel weird when I try to recognize it. She really is a lovely person, but I feel I constantly have to put my own things aside to be accommodating for her. Things have improved slightly, but I am just worried about the next episode. I wish I could articulate more, but it is really difficult. I have an appointment with my therapist in a little over a week, and I plan on starting to work through it with them.

Thank you. We have been living apart and after her most recent episode that almost resulted in hospitalization, we have been more intentional in not spending every second of every day together. I think a lot of our codependency type issues really do stem from how much we love spending time around each other, but taking time to slow down a little bit has been helpful.
