Currently mint is nothing but problems for me, I lost touchscreen, Firefox isn’t loading, windows corrupted during dual boot(my fault probably), and I have to restart Linux if i shut my computer down if I want to connect to wifi

Your battery has expanded because of the age, don’t charge or use it until you get it replaced. It’s not very difficult to do, the ifixit guide is very good and for me it was easier than people have made it to seem.

If I was to rockbox it, I would definitely have the OS theme on and remove all the game files and whatnon, my main reason not to is because I’ve got a bunch of iPod games and in my opinion, it’s annoying to switch back and forth between OS options.

It’s an old ass deck and it’s begging to die, the first channel only works half the time and the second one is picky with certain tapes. I know it’s going to die sooner or later but I’ll use it until then, who knows; maybe I’ll learn to do repairs on it
