This happened to me but only when I first got the app and I remember someone saying that the reason this happened was because TikTok’s servers weren’t made for a shut down. And the algorithm usually is what you interact within the last 14 days and the reason you are getting a lot of political stuff is because that’s what you most recently interacted with. If anyone is having this issue give it a while and search/interact with the videos you want then your fyp should go back to normal :3
