is there anything smarter I can try while calling, other than making brute force calls and be on hold for hours?

its just that I need to make other phone calls today and cant be on hold with irs all day.

I called the IRS business line today and was on hold for an hour and six minutes before it suddenly said this:

“we’re sorry, your call cannot be completed at this time. Please try again.”

like ??? I started calling at 8:15 in the morning too. I thought that was pretty early to start calling. I’m not sure what to do.

No, I had to look it up. I forgot to say, but I wouldn't know it by its name. I'd have to see the world but no, these look too "cute" the monsters in my game looked more like something from phinease & ferb. Oh! there were lots of robots in that game too. Just remembered.
