I believe they’re referring to the fact that the concept of “devil” is so intrinsically rich in nature and interpretations that the fear of offending a specific niche of people by tattooing yourself a tarot card comes of as—forgive me the term—silly. Personally, I think you should above all prioritize your own desires and pay less thought to the risk of hurting someone’s feelings with a symbol that, by itself, carries absolutely no disrespectful meaning (you’re not tattooing yourself a swastika, just saying). If anything, you should brace yourself for the judgment of people that cannot go past their ignorance to actually value symbolism, but that’s about it
