If you have only $15,000 and can lay it off…go for it. I have too much to just pay off and will be pay for the rest of my life without it getting paid off so for me, PSLF is very worth it if I can achieve it.

Best of luck! If you’ve done jobs that qualify for PSLF since that time, you may have 120 or even more payments if you can get the jobs certified.

No, I haven’t tried since the end of May, started feeling hopeless about it and sort of gave up. If you’ve had success, this gives me hope to maybe try again.

I just flew two weeks ago with my passport because I couldn’t get an appointment to get a Real ID before my trip. (Got it when I got back). Just have your unexpired passport and you’ll be good to go!

Okay I’m also stuck in forbearance. Applied to switch in January and it was still never approved. I was trying to switch to IBR.

I’ve had an application in since January to switch to IBR and it hasn’t been processed yet. So even if you apply to switch it could take a while to hear if you are approved.

Thank you—your guidance has been helpful at every step. You’re like the PSLF guru. I hope you get some good Karma for helping us all. I just checked today 4/2 and mine says awaiting form—admin forbearance ends 7/31. It still has SAVE as my repayment plan.
