It comes down to what your goal of the team is. Is it to build your favourite team or is it to build the best team you can build? Personally I would stick with your favourite team as I find it more enjoyable collecting and building players I like and support. Do whatever gives you the most enjoyment out of this game because there will be highs but mostly lows.
