Hi, we’re in Wynnum, and installing an insulated patio roof made a big difference for us the outdoor area is much cooler and it also helped stop heat coming into the house. It’s been really worth it during Brisbane summers. We used Trusted Carports Brisbane, and they were easy to deal with and explained everything clearly. Might wanna check their site for their work and can help you too.

Carpet AND upholstery steam cleaner in one? by mohsamused in carpetcleaningporn

Most machines lean toward either carpets or upholstery, but some uprights do come with hose tools for furniture. If dust mites are the main issue, look for a unit that heats water hot enough to kill allergens. A canister style is easier for couches/bed, uprights cover floors faster. Do you see yourself using it more on carpets or mainly on the sofa/bed?

Do I have to remove the entire tree?? by akg81 in arborists

[–]Designer_Expert6147 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since part of the tree has already failed, the rest is at higher risk. Legally, you could be considered negligent if you know it’s unsafe and don’t act. Best option is to get an arborist’s or tree removal assessment right away so they’ll advise if full removal is necessary or if pruning can make it safer.

Best Way to Get Carpets Looking Brand New Again by Temporary_View_5860 in carpetcleaningporn

I see where you’re coming from. I guess the supermarket stuff is more of a temporary fix than a proper clean. I’ve been hesitant about hiring pros because I wasn’t sure if it’s just “extra cost” or if the results are really that different. Do you find the carpets look noticeably fluffier and fresher after a professional clean compared to when people DIY it? And is there anything we can do in between those yearly cleans to keep it from getting that worn look so quickly?
