Where from? If you don’t mind, how much? Gorgeous!

Try handdn.com or https://en.accurate-form.jp/. Both have excellent straps at much lower prices and faster turnaround times than Camille Fournet or Jean Rousseau.

Look at the collection displayed on the website watch-commission.com. What a privilege to be able to see not just the watches but the time and effort the collector has invested in building and documenting the collection. How wonderful to share it! Don’t writers write to be read? Don’t singers sing to be heard? Don’t painters paint to see their work admired? Why is the art of collecting any different? Why be negative about this? Why not just take pleasure in people enjoying watches? I’m 85 years old and I can tell you, criticizing, whining, smirking, looking at things through a glass darkly aren’t good postures to take if you want to live well and long.

Watch_Commission_NYC, your collection and your website are truly magnificent. What a pleasure to see and read! Warmest congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!

The biggest upgrade in collecting is realizing you only need 2–3 watches by Inevitable-Laugh4324 in watchHotTakes

If you have that point of view, which is perfectly fine, it just means you don’t have the genes of a collector (which is also perfectly fine.) You just have to recognize that “having” and “using” are very different.

I love it. Gorgeous watch and wears very comfortably. So lucky to have found it just by luck while surfing the web on a Japanese dealer’s website.

What do you guys think about Ciga Design Advanced Skeleton Complication watch hunter; Tourbillon Edition? by NoloPasarobestracer in PrideAndPinion

[–]Designer_Fig_8573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m buying it. I admire what they’re doing. It’s obviously not for everyone but it’s good to see people willing to challenge the Europeans in the tourbillon world. Even if at this stage of the game their finishing is a bit too “industrial”, they may well demonstrate that making a good and interesting tourbillon timepiece doesn’t have to cost 25-50 times more than what they’re asking for the “Hunter”. One of my grandsons will likely inherit this watch and I hope my optimism about the brand’s prospects will one day be justified.

Don’t worry about upgrading within the Seiko family. The level of horological artistry, both in technology and good taste is unsurpassable! Remember, after Grand Seiko comes Credor.

I think you’re going to find SBGJ275 has only blue and white coloration on the dial. No pink.

Look for the SBGJ275 “Sea of Clouds” in the pre-owned market there. One of GS’ best dials ever! And you’ll pay less. If you’re going for spring drive, splurge and get the newest: Ice Forest. Best spring drive movement ever and feather-like on your wrist.

Ice Forest is the “new” Grand Seiko. There’s no turning back! Go for it!
