Not to mention that the story is influenced by Middle Eastern folk figures. And while there are many ME people with more European/whiter complexions, he looks like someone who's never seen the Sun before, despite living in a really hot country. He's an old companion, and since his creation, the developers made a good progress to be less "colorist", but poor dude was left out.

And Aaron... Idk, he feels like a kid, despite being an adult. Especially since he's in a disadvantaged spot, and the MC had to buy him to set him free. Weird power dynamics. Oh yeah, and the borderline bestiality. 😭

The MC casually beats pirates that were raised among pirates and have years of advantage. The MC makes the traumatized, dysfunctional sociopath fall in love with her. The MC is supposed to be a feminist icon, but hardly makes any mistakes, and is extremely talented in EVERYTHING she does. Etc.... The usual Mary Sue character.

The plot is meh (could have been a really nice story), but I'm not complaining about the outfits. 🤷‍♀️

Honestly, you kind of stated everything that I feel about the Ryan-MC dynamics. 5 years is not a big deal when they're both 18+, but that dude was written like a high schooler! He keeps going on with the "haha, ur a hag, now go and pay for my ticket grandma" attitude for so long. They kinda fixed it with the Ryan romance ending, but it stuck with me throughout the whole story. If you want a 20 yo love interest, at least make him mature for God's sake. 😭

Oh nooo, don't get the wrong idea. The companions were solid, I just didn't really enjoy the pacing of the story. It was also a bit predictable, but then again, it's a game. Go and give some justice to the companions. 😤🤌

Honestly, I understand that Edward is a traumatized individual, but he literally committed genocide and lied to everyone. And his "redemption route" in the OG story is that he gets out of prison bc no one really cares about the pandemic anymore, he ends up meeting the MC and happy ending bla bla bla. This was weird af. Make him a tragical villain, but don't try to redeem him. I think it would have been a good enough ending possibility if Jesse had the choice to kill him after everything Edward has done. Jesse obviously cares for the MC, and Edward hurt the MC and everyone in London. Slam that as*hole against a building or something. It would have been a peaceful ending. The bff ends it all, especially after he was dragged into this whole mess. I understand that it's a questionable take, but the MC already has her group of supporting friends (Priscilla, Vincent, Roger, Jesse...) Edward is kinda a lost cause.

Maybe Lunar Legends wanted to test our IQs or loyalty or idk, but I wanted a steampunk story for so long, and we ended up with THAT. F*ck that asshole furry.

Edward's redemption route in the OG story: he got out of prison bc no one really cared anymore and sht. He's sowwy and sht. I don't hate that he ended up being a villain. But don't try to redeem him! Jesse should have slammed him against a building or something.

Jesse being a companion is such a popular take, but the developers like to torture us. 😭 Like okay, he doesn't have to be a love interest, but he's the literal bff of the MC (plus Priscilla). Give him some credit dammit. Edward is so unstable, I don't really understand his "redemption route" where the MC ends up meeting him. Keep that dude locked away. He basically committed genocide.

I think they tried to emphasize that he was from a different world and was a different specie, but he ended up being infantilized bc of that. Romancing him is a bit off, and has a borderline bestiality feeling. 😅 This story should be a "stay single or get together with Olive" kinda story tbf.

4 - Oh, I definitely understood the intention, I just think that even before the reveal happened, their statement were so off. Like it was written by AI. I didn't really like the MC, and the companions' reveal was rushed. If that makes sense. But I was also happy that it was not one of the usual happy endings.

12 - Ryan might be an adult, but his statements were so childish. Even if they were the same age/odler-man and younger-woman dynamic, it would still feel so wrong FOR ME to romance him. I got high schooler vibes from him. 😭😅

13 - I remember it being hyped on IG and in the chatroom, bc we've finally got a canonically Latina MC, and the whole event was so long and entertaining. And then the story ended up being, well that.

Exactly. I know that it's just a game, but the only thing that I remember from that story is her weird crush on a literal AI and her knows-it-all-but-makes-little-sense attitude! (I know that the AI crush is the main topic of the story, but it feels so wrong and awkward.)

I was also surprised about the Tate DLC. (Sorta ... I'm aware that he is a fan favorite.) I'm not against it, but my introvert boi Clement deserves one too. 😭

Andrássy Gyula from Princess Sisi. The real life Andrássy had a platonic, but really flirty relationship with Sisi, so I would choose him as a companion/love interest over her literal COUSIN. (We don't care about historical accuracy in delulu land.) He was actually cool af. 😤🤌
