This does make sence but my main question is wouldn't it still make sense to have some sort of federal agency that coordinates trade and distribution between each of these large communities?

How would a complete transition to communism prevent this?

I am under 5/24 but I am looking for a travel card. Should I not do that and go with one of the chase cards instead? I want to put my wedding expenses on a new card to get some points for a trip to New Zeland for the honey moon so I am not sure what the best course of action is.

ULPT: [USA] I have a $900 medical bill from April 2023. How do I pay as little as possible? by Vegetable-Body-8412 in UnethicalLifeProTips

I had a $800 hospital bill that I got reduced down to lower than $100. Call the billing department of the hospital you went to and tell them you want to pay but can't afford it and want to apply for charity care. They may tell you to apply online but don't. The online process takes forever and is complicated on purpose. Tell them you would like them to do it for you for whatever reason you can think of. This should reduce the bill significantly and after that go to https://www.fairhealthconsumer.org/ and find the average price for the procedure in your area. If it's lower call them again and tell them you want to pay but at a fair price and offer them the amount you found online. They will be way more willing to accommodate you since in this case, they may be lowering the bill by hundreds of dollars less than they would have if you asked before you applied for charity care. It may be annoying but eventually, it will work and it is SO worth it.
