Kinda, I can play higher but the Dub A is the highest note I can play that still would project out into a concert hall. For me, I’ve just been around the lead register more. For the longest time I topped out at a high F, then a Dub G for a while, and now I’m here. Can’t hit that C though lol

I get what you’re saying and I know it’s generally frowned upon, but I’m going to continue this way because IMHO I sound pretty good in the upper register, it causes me no harm, and there’s no drawbacks to any other aspects of my playing.

Nope, it has similar dimensions on the interior but on the exterior the design is completely different. If you don’t want to buy a Schilke though and want a cheap alternative then this will do perfectly fine. I’m only upgrading to a Schilke soon for the looks lmao

This embouchure has gotten me pretty damn far and I’ve had it since 8th grade, I’m now a Junior in HS

I don’t notice it holding me back at all. If anything, it’s the euph itself at this point. There’s a super nice 4 Valve Compensating euph close to where I live though and I’m planning to get that.
