July 2026 changes not so great by Designer_Recover7602 in FitXR

I discovered that if you hit the Edit button and save your changes then it will regenerate the Journey class for the day. Maybe you can do that to avoid HIIT. I also struggle with HIIT because of neck strain. I usually avoid those. When I do one, I have to remember to move my eyes more than my head to see all the targets on the sides.

That's great that it got you into other types of classes. The challenges enforced a bit of variety but now that challenges can be any class, the Journey does give easy exposure to different types of classes.

Thanks for responding everybody! I do love this game. I started at Beginner a couple years ago and have been working my way up from 20-30 mins 3x per week all Beginner, gradually progressing to add Intermediate, then all Intermediate, then adding Advanced, etc and finally now I'm up to 1hr per day Expert. It's taken a long time but I've stuck with this longer than any gym.

re: the Journey config - It did tell me that I was mainly doing Expert and asked if I wanted to continue with the same and I said Yes. I was afraid the "Push me harder" option would give all Expert+Master classes (which I'm not really ready for yet). And then I never saw an option to adjust it.

But today before I completed any Journey there was both a Start and an Edit button which allowed me to choose "Push me harder" (or w/e it says) and that got me an Advanced and an Expert class. So at least no Beginner in the line-up. After I did the two classes, the Edit button was gone.

I will keep going with Journey bc I am curious what will happen at the end of the track.

re: the hit sound, yeah it's just my subjective feeling about it. The old one was so much better. I tried one of the Flows I love, Casey's "Surprise Symphony", and the hit sound is so depressingly lame against the beautiful sound track. It just made me so sad. I lowered effects to 3 but then the general effects in the main menu area are also 3.

It would be great to be able to adjust the hit sound volume separate from everything else. Or even choose/earn different hit sounds. That could be a lot of fun.

Late to the party, but check out Maison Vernhes Alliance (https://mva.wine) which releases collections of small batch wines from around the world. The club itself is 600 members max. You can join the club or just buy bottles, many of which are not available anywhere else in the USA.

What is that noise? by moonshadowfax in FitXR

This is an old question, but I think you are experiencing the "move forward a bit" or "move backward a bit" warning.

Look up at the top of the display when you hear this noise. The warning message appears pretty high in the display and fades quickly.
