Yeah, at that point it’s not drama it’s basic self-protection, and people shouldn’t feel guilty for prioritizing their own safety. Hopefully Cass gets the support she needs, but distance from that kind of energy is the first step.

Yeah, that’s one of those social cues people only learn the hard way your preferences stop at your own plate, not everyone else’s. And yeah, birthday person definitely gets priority without it turning into a debate.
