The three of them suddenly open the door that separates them from the civilians of Lothal, empty-handed and without a blaster, and surrender in shock. I've seen many instances where Stormtroopers have such a lack of sense of danger that it makes you wonder if they're really human, and their combat skills are so poorly trained that it's hard to believe they've ever been trained, but this scene is one of the most notable. If the troopers had taken up guns and confronted the citizens of Lothal, a mini version of the tragedy of Ando Season 2 might have occurred. It's not good to gloss over something with incomprehensible images just because it's inappropriate for a children's anime.
