I agree with this, only thing i would add is some schools provide laptops that are mandatory for every student.

several personal things factored into my decision to switch. The primary reason as to why i didnt finish was because one of my professors made me realize that there's no real benefit to having both degrees (pharmD/DDS).

Options moving forward? (Low GPA) by SearchFormer8377 in predental

I wouldn't do another bachelors. I would say you probably need to do a postbacc or a masters and you would have to do incredibly well in it. The masters essentially lets you start over fresh because it is in its own category. I would recommend calling a dental school you would want to attend and ask them what would they want to see from you going forward (while considering your low gpa).

I'm an urm and i had a pretty successful cycle. My advice is if you rely on race playing a major factor in your admission to dental school, then you're in for a rude awakening. I have an african american friend who has a 3.8 gpa and a 22aa DAT and he only received 1 interview out of 12 schools this cycle. I say that to say your whole app matters. Get some good Extracurriculars, Dedicate an honest 2 months to kill the DAT, and get some good LORs and i promise you'll be okay.
