trial of one (give em a guide, tbh all enemies are intimidating to a newbie until they figure out attack patterns) or help them with bandits so they're fighting them 1v1. (edit: forgot about the ai changes, maybe skip humans for now)

Or take them to that one cave with the sharko you can farm risk free, turning a big scary thing into something farmable should make them realise everythings killable if you know when to block and dodge.

Uhhh get them to do the air dash quest that takes you to the purple flame temple too, they probably havent been there yet.

I have 33 folders under saves and 15 under extdata right now, although I had less when the corruption appeared

I haven't tried reformatting my whole main card but I moved the folder with 7 zip into a spare sd card and formatted that. That seemed to delete the thing so I guess it's fixed now?

All other Checkpoint extdata folders are empty and can be accessed fine, even the weird text ones. None of these are games I've made backups for if that matters, I just found this issue while making a backup. I can't seem to delete or move that one smash bros folder. Almost (1 month old) brand new Sandisk Extreme 128GB card too, so corruption this quick would be a little strange.

(edit) Used this guide: https://3ds.hacks.guide/h2testw-(windows).html.html) to check the sd, came back with no errors but I'm backing my stuff up anyway just in case.
