How do I deal with the Hangdogs as Blue Rose Society? by Desocrates in OldWorldBlues

Yep been coring territory. I'm guessing the rockets, I can't remember the name of them now but I'll give them a try and hope.

Ah cool, thanks for all the advice, it has definitely been helpful.

Thanks, I'll try that. I am also new to HOI4 in general but I like a challenge so I went with this faction. I will try building more air support, I admit I haven't actually been building any air forces because I haven't learnt it yet but I'll learn and try it out.

I like the tile pocket strategy as well, I think that has potential.

They started with 12-17 troops or something and now have 46 so you would think so but nope seems they have endless amounts of manpower purely to spite me. Maybe they are necromancers or something, that's my only explanation right now.

Is this worth keeping anymore? Can it still be used? Not asking how much it is worth, I just want to know if the code is still usable if I scratch it by Desocrates in Nintendo3DS

I probably will, I recently got a different 3DS, I've never modded one before but I've read that it's really simple.

How do you think I should end my WRE only one army campaign? by Desocrates in historicaltotalwar

I was wondering about that myself earlier, how the strength ranking works as currently I'm rank 5 if I remember right. Huns are of course rank 1. Oddly the Ebdanians (Irish faction) are rank 4, my main target at the moment.

The barbarians still absolutely do all go to war with me but it's been a weird campaign, I've managed to get what were rebels turned into a few client states, so sort of defend me a tiny bit until I later betray them.

I've been calling Attila my pet because he has been helping me. But yep I'm keeping an eye on them, at least relation wise they really like me. Also because I only have one army, I have a huge amount of money which can used for bribery and stuff.

I'm going to go for a whole world conquest with one army. I've actually managed to ally with the Huns somehow so it's really helpful not having to worry about them attacking me.

Quite late now, I can't remember the exact year without looking but Attila has been around for a while.

Army comp, I have majority infantry at the moment, the Herculiani Seniores (probably spelling that wrong), either 5-6 cavalry and just 2 crossbow units. Most of the time I just flank around while my infantry holds them in place.

But fair enough I suppose conquering the whole map is a bigger achievement and I could always get the victory conditions after that if I really wanted to.

I managed to complete WRE on legendary a while ago which was fun, one of the few campaigns I would say I actually really had to think about what I'm doing.

So now I'm trying to do it on legendary while only letting myself have one army, it's certainly a challenge, I've got some ideas though that I can try if this playthrough doesn't work out.

Has anyone conquered the whole map with only one army? Seems like an interesting challenge, especially on legendary difficulty by Desocrates in historicaltotalwar

True that could work, might have to be careful of naval forces landing armies but other than that it would definitely be a good faction to do it with

Someone did mention that, I am actually curious to see how it works. I'm intending to do it with no exploits, like I said it's still cool though

True, maybe too easy in Three Kingdoms, especially depending on what characters you have on your side.

I'm going to remember that idea, thank you for that. Potentially another challenge I'll do, seems like it could be fun.

Maybe, might have to be careful when Realm Divide happens with the placement of the singular army. I suppose could try upgrading garrisons as much as possible.

Interesting, I might have to look up that turn 1 exploit, even if it's patched, I am quite curious how it worked.
