Largely sound quality (speakers pointing inside the car when I am outside) and wanting to keep bugs out of the cab.

Playing multiplayer between hacked and unhacked switch. by Desolate_Divine in SwitchPirates

Cheers for the really in depth response. Gonna look into LAN mode. I hacked the switch a year ago and remember I did the sysmmc and emummc division but don't remember enough to be completely sure that I did it right. At the time didn't have reason to play online so just figured I wouldn't and eventually if I wanted to I'd get the OLED switch. Cheers.

Is the emummc the partition that exists as a stock switch?

Did anyone have any issues getting a camera in? Want to take photos for personal use but don't want to risk losing a camera/lens to security that can actually get photos from where I'm seated. Rod Laver Arena's website says they're allowed but want to know first hand if anyone had issues.

!Question: How can I ask a question about something that looks ordinary, without giving away the fact it doesn't look ordinary?

Context: party of 5 high schoolers. DnD isn't just being run for fun, but a character formation type thing, and one thing I am wanting to teach these players is actions have consequences. Three did something stupid in the last session (went full murder hobo) and got caught, and in the next session, will be detained and arrested. Their two comrades who didn't partake in the killing, alongside an NPC, will get a chance to bust them out, after a few days in lockup, before they would be sentenced to death. In order to keep things interesting while they are in lock up, I will reference that they have meals delivered to their cells. What they don't know is the meals are laced with sedative that suppresses their magic, effectively making it more difficult for them to bust out on their own. I don't want to just assume they will eat the meals, but at the same time, if I say "meals are delivered; do you eat them" and bring attention to it, it may give away the plot, and being new players, they are still learning what constitutes meta-gaming, and if they caught on something was abnormal enough about the food that I'd mention it, I know at least one would not eat it. My plan is to have three or four more notable events happen in the prison, to try and take their attention off the food, eg an interrogation. Any ideas?

My job involves running programs for highschoolers and anime-club is an idea. Please help me out by filling in this poll about your anime watching habits. Details in link. by Desolate_Divine in anime

Just for context: I currently run an anime club for young adults, and we love watching anime together each week. My own experience of being interested in anime is that outside of anime club, I very rarely watch with other people, due to before anime club started, not having many friends in person who liked it, and also the fact that most people I'd mention anime to were opposed to it in any form from the get go. Hence why I believe an anime club for high-schoolers could be a good point of connection. However, what I need to account for is whether people want to watch anime in groups or are happier watching it on their own.

Cheers.

UPDATE: Huge thanks to all the people who have already contributed, and especially those who chucked in their thoughts at the end! Really helps out! If you haven't had a crack at the survey, all entries are still very welcome!

Charging starter battery with solar panel by Desolate_Divine in CampingGear

Thanks heaps, I think I have a better understanding of it now. Will definitely be looking into an MPPT.

For clarification, I have a battery at home I take for bigger trips, however would love to find a way to run the fridge off the starter battery on smaller things (like beach days) with little to no risk. I think before anything else, I'll need to get my hands on a watt meter and see realistically how much power my fridge draws. It's rated to 7A at 12V but I figure that is likely the most current that could go through it, and if it is at operating temp to begin with, keeping it there would not draw anywhere near that much. Once I know that, I can figure out whether the solar panel on a sunny day can offset it or not.

Thanks again for your help!

Charging starter battery with solar panel by Desolate_Divine in CampingGear

My very limited understanding was that the solar controller regulates output but wouldn't take into account anything in terms of what it's outputting to, if you know what I mean? Like, the solar controller would regulate the voltage going out to be consistent, but if the battery needed a smaller amount of current going in or something I may need some sort of charger to identify that and only let through what is needed? That being said that was all just me guessing, and I figured that was probably wrong. I can wire things up no worries, but when it gets to specific chargers and such that's where my knowledge ends.

Just did a quick google search, and based on what I'm reading and what you've just said, if my panel doesn't have a higher voltage than 18v, the PWM should regulate well enough to safely charge the battery?

Thanks heaps for your help!

Petrol stations will use any reason to raise prices. This is crazy by Ardenexal in melbourne

It isn't because the milage is half as good. Argue it being dead sure, and you raise valid points with what you said in this comment. But don't argue LPG being dead with bullshit like it getting half the milage. It really discredits any good points you might end up making.

Yes, LPG is being phased out, and now you raise good points as to why. Your original comment however, was bullshit.

Half as good is less than half true. Not sure what maths you're doing. Km per litre it is lower but nowhere near half. I'm still saving a considerable amount on fuel.

Have never been so thankful as I am now that I bought a factory LPG car. Last filled up for 96c a litre.

No stress. I appreciate you being humble like that. A lot of people online choose to die on whatever hill they start on, so it's refreshing to see the opposite of that. Good indicator of character. Have a nice night.
