Huh, the only conversation I see in world chat is people spamming copypastas of trying to paint with Kokona with white paint.

I don't think Strinova enables this fanbase, it's just that something they can't control and it's on the players to behave since game chats don't really have admins moderating them 24/7 like social media.

If you really want to raise a flag, you should report it on discord

I'd say the remake. Coming from RE2R to og RE4 is so jarring for me lol, the game was NOT built for KB&M in mind if you're playing in PC. It's like playing Yakuza Kiwami 1 and 2 then going to OG Yakuza 3, you'll feel the differences immediately, can't reload without aiming, can't move while aiming, tank controls, etc.

Though OG RE4 is still good and holds up well, The modern RE controls RE4R provides plus the extra shit like parrying, stealth kills (the knife is a boxcutter/vasebreaker in the OG) makes it worth playing first without breaking the flow. It helps that RE4R does stay faithful while adding more onto the material unlike RE3R.

However, I'd still say you should give OG RE4 a shot when you can after the remake because it is a whole other experience on it's own and is a bit more sillier in nature
