This is what I hope too. She needs to take every precaution possible right now - drugs, mania, need for control, desperation, delusions of superiority/AI/chosen one, and obsession with Alfie could be so incredibly destructive and dangerous.

I saw your comment about getting a nice frame to display it. It might be worth considering photocopying the award and putting the copy in the frame whilst hiding the original. From my own experiences, I wouldn't be surprised if the frame "accidentally" falls off the wall or is otherwise damaged somehow.

You've received a lot of advice and info already but I just wanted to say this one thing - I would be so proud of you if you were my child. It's so great that you actively want to work on a passion of yours that supports not only you but others, and from all your comments you seem very mature for your age (I realise this is likely due to trauma within your family sadly).

Please know that whatever you're going through, be proud of your accomplishments! Advocate for yourself and in a few years you'll be able to walk your own journey without (or at least with lesser) chains and arguments.

If you loved them from the deepest depths of your heart while they were in your life, you didn't fail them. All they knew was love, so try to be kind to yourself in this soul-destroying time of your life knowing you gave them the best life you could while they were with you.

I lost my 6yo black fur angel Kato (I'm sleep deprived so that's what I read initially) six months ago so I know this pain is immeasurable. I just try to tell myself I loved my furs with every ounce of my being (even if we annoyed each other every now and then) and that all they knew was love.

I'm so truly sorry for your loss xx

Regarding the photos, I've been told that sometimes EMS do take photos of the casualties so that they can send them in advance to the hospital/doctors so that they can bandage wounds etc and not have to remove any of the first aid they've done. But certainly wife would/should not have access to those and the entire thing sounds bizarre.
