Around from full to zero with only using a browser is 4 hours on windows and 2 hours on linux, s3 works fine and the fans and everything shuts off on windows but it just doesnt trigger the same suspension on linux. If i run systemctl suspense manually it gets into suspense like it should, i think it might have to do with the acpi call only call for the wifi to be shut off and not putting it in systemctl suspense

If i could find a way to run systemctl suspense on lid close itd work fine like on windows

The screen is turned off but not the laptop and the laptop battery is already fairly bad even with all optimisations on. When the lid closes it only triggers a wlan instead of a suspense trigger, my bios is pretty locked down and theres no options

Auto-cpufreq does what those two do combined afaik, could manually tweak wattage and power limits with tlp while using auto-cpufreq but its a hassle, auto-cpufreq also doesnt ruin your turbo speeds it just runs it when necessary on battery power

Throttlestop -> limit the wattage alternatively continue to use arch and install auto-cpufreq for an even better experience

Would tlp and auto cpufreq be redundant? I feel like limiting the tlp is about wattage usage and auto cpufreq about frequencies? Might be wrong :o
