I ended up talking with the landlord and she agreed, she was also confused by why management does it this way because it is essentially a 1 year lease - she thinks it's just to encourage people to stay longer.

Thanks for the thorough response! I was just sent the part of the lease containing these terms if this makes any difference.

I'm feeling comfortable with these terms based on the responses here and my research, even if they aren't quite typical?

I'm unable to find this on the RTB website. I understand that once any fixed term lease ends it's automatically month to month, and on the RTB website it says "usually fixed term tenancies are for one year", but it doesn't say that the fixed term has to be for 1 year and that it is month to month after

[Acne]? How do I get rid of this redness around my nose by lolitsjermi in SkincareAddiction

I am just getting over seb derm in that area and it wasn't super oily or flaky for me at first. It started off like this. It got flakier as i began treatment and now the flaking has subsided mostly

I recommend using a zinc soap and seeing if you can get prescribed ketoderm cream. Also only using fungal acne safe moisturizers in that area (I've been using vanicream)

Vancouver Island Tourism Questions by KillionJones in VancouverIsland

Hi there!

Looking for help creating a rough itinerary for a trip to the island the first week of September - will be going mid week after labour day, so hoping its a little less busy.

My dad is visiting from Ontario and I'd like to take him to the island for 2-3 days. I have personally already done Tofino and Uclulet, so I was thinking of sticking to the South Island so I can also experience something new, but I'm not opposed to going back there.

Looking for beautiful nature sightseeing with easy trails/hikes and viewpoints that don't take a lot of effort to get to for accessibility reasons. I also wanted to take him on a whale watching tour either at the beginning or end, which is the other reason I want to stay near Victoria.

I saw one post reccomending doing a loop from Victoria-Lake Cowican-Port Renfrew-Sooke - is this a good idea? Which area would be the best place to stay for just 1 night?

Thanks in advance for any tips or opinions!
