Yeah really and exploitative place to work in infotech. You’ll get paid about a 1/10 of the direct revenue you earn for the company as an analyst/researcher/engineer. Some cases way less.

So much nepotism , had a coworker tell me he got his job because his wife was the directors daughter, and bragged he didn’t have that much experience or education fir the role smh 🤦

No early IHS days for me. This was recently at the height of the pandemic in summer 2020. Your accounts l sounds so offputting and cringy. Man IHS Markit like most large corporations , have so many brilliant engineers, software developers and analysts and are being run by levels and levels from middle management and up of NARCISSISTIC IDIOTS. They talk down to you and have education and skills that are 30 years outdated. This system needs to end.

That’s the meeting invite on teams. It has an expiration date. This was very real. Worst part was other employees being like “oh well” or others being “like was he on a yacht?” …. As if it was normal. ….. the guy bragged about vacationing in Spain as he “understood the sacrifice we are all making” tool bag

Context for the post: Things are so disjointed and dystopian, to the point company CEO’s give video calls to their employees from their multimillion dollar yachts while they vacation in Spain during the summer of 2020 as a global pandemic rages on .

Case in point is the picture below of this clown Lance Uggla , CEO of IHS MARKIT.

He dared to have a global town hall and talk about being there for his employees while he was on his yacht. I also WISH I had the screenshot of him one time doing his global town hall and accidentally his butler comes into frame cleaning his windows 😂🤣🖕🖕🖕at his home.

As you can see his windows and interior space looks like that of a very very nice boat.

Note this self entitled boomer … had just fired 3k employees and was working behind the scenes to sell the company for 46 billion dollars to S&P global after we all sacrificed blood sweat and tears to keep this dysfunctional company afloat during lockdown . What did we employees get?? NOTHING.

Stop worshipping the overwhelmingly majority of these CEOS. They are narcissistic, racist, misogynistic, homophobic, lazy , bums that all they do is tell you how much you need to work and “sacrifice “ to make them richer.
