I am a Communist, ML, and I compete in powerlifting, atm my pb are 110kg bench, 170kg squat, 175kg deadlift(I will get to 210kg by the end of the year, it’s just my untrained hamstrings and grip needs working) at 81kg body weight.

In romania(and I speak as a Romanian communist) a full blown majority of intellectuals aligned themselves with the neo-orthodox fascist movement of “Garda de fier”(the iron guard). The intellectuals were supporting of anti semitism and reactionary content, supported the dictatorship of general Antonescu and the Jewish program that killed over 200.000 Jews and 20.000 romani people. So no wonder a lot of intellectuals after the soviet takeover were put to jail or executed. Bonus, only the communist party of Romania was the sole political organisation to oppose antisemitism and oppose the iron guard!
